InterFaith Council for Social Service

As the Covid19 pandemic continues to cause pain in our community, you can help neighbors in need. You can give food and shelter to those in need with a donation to the Interfaith Council for Social Services, a long-time partner of the Kehillah in our acts of tzedakah. Local food banks report an increase of 35% in requests for assistance compared to a year ago. Long-time institutional donors of food such as the university food service are not operating with students gone. The back stocks in the IFC pantry are as bare as they have ever been.  The Federal unemployment supplement will end on July 31, reducing the maximum in our state to $350. The utility and eviction moratoriums are also scheduled to end on July 31. Please donate what you are able; $5 for 5 pounds of pasta, $10 for 10 cans of beans. Any gift is welcome. Those who depend on the IFC thank you for helping in this time of great need.
