Jen was born in New Jersey and spent her early childhood in California and Maine before her family moved to Chapel Hill. She attended Culbreth Junior High (it wasn’t a middle school yet!), and Chapel Hill High School. She earned a B.A. in History from UNC-Chapel Hill and an M.A. in Public History from NC State. Jen works for the North Carolina Division of State Historic Sites where she serves as Piedmont Region Supervisor and oversees operations at eight historic sites. She joined Kehillah in 2021.
