Born in North Carolina, raised in Pennsylvania, Lara and her family have officially made Chapel Hill their home since 2020 and have been active members of the Kehillah since that time. Her son celebrated his bar mitzvah last year, and her daughter is preparing for her bat mitzvah in the coming spring. Lara enjoys leyning, running, cooking for her family and reading historical fiction. Lara works as a PA with the Department of Radiation Oncology at UNC.
